Lion Marilyn Miedzianski
District 1 K Governor 2008-2009
Peru Lions Club
Governor Marilyn has been a Lion since
2001 and has served her club as President and Secretary.
On the district
level
she has been Zone Chairman, State Magazine Representative
and Campaign Sight First II group leader. Together with the
Peru Lions she started the 1 K District Support Our Soldiers
service project in 2003. She received an International President
Award for her work with this group.
She has attended many district
and state conventions, MD-1 and USA Canada Forums as well
as the Emerging Lions
Leadership
Institute and the International Convention
in Chicago in 2007. She has helped at the Special Olympics, Weldon Springs
Fun Days and the Lions Lake Shabbona Fishing Derby.
Lion Marilyn is a retired
Registered Nurse, has 5 children, two stepchildren and
18 grandchildren. She
is active
in her church where she is a board
member and Welcome Committee leader. |
